What is the 2026 MV Agusta F3 RR?
The 2026 MV Agusta F3 RR puts 108 kW (147 hp) at 13,000 rpm and 88 Nm at 10,100 rpm into a 798 cc three-cylinder supersport. That engine sits with a cassette-style six-speed gearbox, Marzocchi and Sachs suspension, Brembo Stylema front callipers and a winged aerodynamic body package in the MY26 specification.
MV Agusta’s current range also includes the F3 R and F3 Competizione, and this is where the names can trip you up. Their equipment and kit figures aren’t interchangeable with the F3 RR, even though the family resemblance is obvious.
The 798 cc three-cylinder engine
The engine uses a 79 mm bore and 54.3 mm stroke, 13.3:1 compression and a 12-valve DOHC cylinder head. MV Agusta lists titanium intake and exhaust valves, a mechanical cam-chain tensioner and DLC tappets.
MVICS 2.1 manages six injectors through an Eldor Nemo 2.2 ECU and 50 mm full ride-by-wire Mikuni throttle bodies. Maximum output is quoted at the crankshaft: 108 kW (147 hp) at 13,000 rpm, with 88 Nm at 10,100 rpm.
Standard F3 RR and the Dedicated Kit
In standard road specification, MV Agusta lists 147 hp and 192.5 kg as 'Mass in running order (without fuel)'. With the Dedicated Kit, the figures become 155 hp at 13,250 rpm and 184.5 kg on the same mass basis.
The global/EU Dedicated Kit includes a CNC fuel-tank cap, fibreglass passenger-seat cover, Akrapovič titanium exhaust silencer and carbon-fibre silencer cover. The current GB page also describes a dedicated racing ECU map.
The USA sheet applies a stricter use condition: it says the Dedicated Kit items are intended for closed-course competition and racing applications only. The GB page separately describes a street-legal Euro 5 Akrapovič silencer and notes that this version is unavailable in North America.
Cassette gearbox and clutch
The F3 RR uses a cassette-style six-speed constant-mesh transmission with MV EAS 3.0 up-and-down electronic shifting. The clutch is a wet 9-disc assist-and-slipper design.
The cassette layout has a practical serviceability advantage: the gearbox is designed to be withdrawn as an assembly, allowing transmission access without conventional crankcase splitting.
Aerodynamics: wings, screen and carbon-fibre bodywork
The MY26 technical sheet specifies thermoplastic and carbon-fibre fairing material with an aluminium belly pan. MV Agusta's current F3 RR page adds aerodynamic wings, a higher windscreen, carbon-fibre fairing sides and a front mudguard shaped to improve airflow to the radiator.
MV Agusta says the package increases load on the front of the motorcycle and improves stability while preserving acceleration and maximum-speed performance.
The current F3 RR page does not state a numeric downforce value. MV Agusta's F3 Competizione page quotes 8 kg at 240 km/h while saying its aero setup comes from the F3 RR, so that 8 kg figure is not treated as a direct MY26 F3 RR specification.
Chassis, suspension and brakes
The chassis combines an ALS steel tubular trellis with aluminium-alloy rear swingarm pivot plates and an aluminium single-sided swingarm. Wheelbase is 1,380 mm and trail is 99 mm.
A 43 mm Marzocchi upside-down fork uses TiN low-friction treatment and external compression, rebound and spring-preload adjustment, with 125 mm of travel. The Sachs rear shock is adjustable for rebound, compression and spring preload and gives 130 mm of travel.
Braking hardware comprises twin 320 mm floating front discs with Brembo Stylema radial monobloc four-piston calipers, plus a 220 mm rear disc with a two-piston Brembo caliper. Continental MK100 ABS includes Rear Wheel Lift-up Mitigation and a cornering function.
Rider electronics and connectivity
MY26 equipment includes a 5.5-inch colour TFT display, cruise control, launch control, Front Lift Control, Bluetooth, GPS and MV Ride App integration. The app supports navigation mirroring and adjustment of engine and rider-aid settings.
The technical sheet also lists an advanced connectivity device with integrated anti-theft geolocation and emergency SMS. MV Agusta's current GB page describes the control platform as a six-axis inertial system supporting lean-sensitive functions.
Dimensions, fuel and what 192.5 kg means
The standard F3 RR is 2,030 mm long and 730 mm wide, with a 1,380 mm wheelbase, 830 mm saddle height, 120 mm minimum ground clearance and a 16.5-litre fuel tank.
MV Agusta states 192.5 kg as 'Mass in running order (without fuel)'. The Dedicated Kit has its own 184.5 kg figure on the same basis, which is why the two configurations are best compared separately.
MV Agusta quotes a maximum speed of 240 km/h and states that the speed was attained on a closed course. It also lists 0-100 km/h in 2.97 seconds and 0-200 km/h in 8.40 seconds.
For the global/EU specification used here, the F3 RR is Euro 5+ with combined fuel consumption of 5.7 L/100 km and CO2 emissions of 132 g/km. The USA sheet does not carry that emissions block.
Tyres: Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa IV
The MY26 technical sheet specifies 120/70 ZR17 front and 180/55 ZR17 rear tyre sizes. MV Agusta's current GB page identifies the fitted tyre as the Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa IV.
Earlier F3 RR road-and-track context
Ultimate Motorcycling's 2022 street-and-track review covers an earlier F3 RR iteration, so it is useful for broad chassis and ergonomics context rather than as a complete MY26 verdict. That test motorcycle used the Racing Kit, an earlier Nemo 2.1 ECU, Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa II tyres and a different clutch specification.
Tester Nic de Sena described the bike as notably nimble and precise through rapid direction changes. He found the Marzocchi/Sachs suspension taut without being excessively harsh and considered the cockpit relatively spacious for his 5 ft 10 in height, with useful wind protection from the taller screen.
F3 RR versus F3 R and F3 Competizione
The F3 R shares the 798 cc capacity and 147 hp headline output, but MV Agusta lists its fairing as thermoplastic rather than the RR's thermoplastic-and-carbon-fibre construction. The RR also carries the winged aerodynamic body package and TiN-treated Marzocchi fork specified for this model.
The F3 Competizione is a separate limited model with Öhlins suspension and carbon-fibre wheels. Its Dedicated Kit is quoted at 160 hp, so its higher-output kit figures are Competizione specifications rather than F3 RR figures.
Buying and researching a 2026 F3 RR
The live GB F3 RR page did not display a GBP price when checked on 7 September 2026. For a current UK purchase, confirm price, warranty and servicing terms directly with MV Agusta or an authorised dealer.
There is not enough controlled evidence to give the MY26 F3 RR a blanket reliability verdict. For ownership research, check the exact market specification, service history, recall status and authorised workshop support.
For wider manufacturer and dealer context, continue to the MV Agusta Brand page.
For the related 798 cc three-cylinder route, the 2026 Brutale 800 uses the same core engine architecture, with a materially different tune and chassis.
The MV Agusta triples-and-fours feature carries the broader comparison across the F3 RR, Brutale 800, Superveloce 1000 Serie Oro and original Rush 1000.
